Studios I've Worked at:

       

Chung King Studios... I love the blue room...It's got a Neve VR (my favorite desk) and the equipment
and sound of the room is great. Some projects I've done there : Nessa Morgan, ReDrama (see news July)


Right Track Recording ... Another world class VR room right in the heart of Times Square. Nestled in
among all the music stores on 48th street. Some things I've done there : Ms. Dynamite ; Tom Jones ; Journalist ;
Hil. St. Soul  ;  Studio A...Love it..!!!!


Sound On Sound Recording ... This is where I got my first job in the music industry, and where I stayed
until I went freelance in '97. Although most of the staff has turned over, there are some hold-overs..
and it's always nice to see those guys. I learned so much here...It's close to my heart. Some of the
projects I've worked on there include Notorious B.I.G., Little Kim & Shyne.


The Hit Factory ...World Famous. What else can I say? Some projects I've done there include
Notorious B.I.G., Black Rob & Ma$e


Quad Recording ... Some projects done there : Black Rob, Shyne, Carl Thomas


Sony Music Studios ... I've only been here a handful of times. Cool rooms. Those guys run a
tight ship over there. A real impressive place. I worked on one of Faith Evan's Album there

Unique Recording ... Another New York staple.



             


South Beach Studios ...Location, Location, Location...Oh yeah I tracked stuff for Ms. Dynamite
there. Couldn't get into the mix room because one of those Lord-Alge guys is there like
500 days a week....The room I was in worked well for us, and the staff is really first rate!
We walked into a relaxed great atmosphere every day, not to mention a breakfast spread! I really miss
those Cuban coffees!!


Circle House Studios ... No website for these guys, but they don't need one. This place is sick. Owned by
the Reggae group Inner Circle it boasts 3 mix rooms, (one out by the waterfall equipped pool!!!) Villa-like
grounds, and great sounding rooms. A caterer will come in and cook so everyone can eat family style.
I went down there with Bad Boy Records to work on The Saga Continues album.


          


Metalworks Studios ... Their G and J rooms are probably 2 of the best mix rooms in Canada. So
that's where I work when I'm up north. I've worked on Spek ,  Redrama  &  Big Brovaz  here.



       


Sony Music Studios, London... I've only been here for the Spek project. I really liked the sound of the control room. Top notch.


Strongroom... Where I do most of my work in London. Neve VR, and a paintjob that seems to be out
of the mind of the late Jerry Garcia. The studio staff is excellent, the equipment works and there's a bar on the
premisis...What else do you need??? I worked on Spek, Hil St Soul & So Solid Crew there.
